Stronger Families. Expanding Opportunity.

Family Life Center Initiative is a community-focused nonprofit organization created to strengthen families, support youth, expand access to opportunity, and connect communities with practical resources that help people move forward.

Who We Are

Family Life Center Initiative was formed in 2025 with a clear purpose: build a broader platform for family support, youth development, education, workforce opportunity, wellness, and community collaboration in Richmond, Virginia and beyond.

Although the organization is new, the community-serving model behind its mission is not. Family Life Center Initiative grows from years of practical experience developed through relationships with trusted Richmond institutions, including New Life Harvest Church and Next Generation Learning Center. Those relationships provide valuable insight into the everyday needs of children, parents, young people, and families while Family Life Center Initiative develops its own programs, partnerships, outcomes, and organizational record.

Our Mission

To strengthen families and communities by expanding access to education, workforce opportunity, youth development, childcare support, counseling, spiritual care, and community-based resources that help people build stable and successful futures.

Our Vision

We envision communities where families have access to the relationships, resources, skills, and opportunities they need to thrive – from early childhood through adulthood. Our goal is to help create a pathway from cradle to success by connecting people with support that is practical, local, and built for long-term growth.

Built From Experience. Designed for Growth.

Family Life Center Initiative is intentionally structured as its own organization while working alongside partners with deep community roots. This approach allows the Initiative to learn from established service models, develop new partnerships, expand into additional communities, and report its own organizational and program outcomes with clarity.

Our work is organized around five interconnected pillars: Day Care Center, Workforce Training, Adult Education, Counseling & Spiritual Services, and Youth Empowerment. Together, these pillars are designed to support the whole family and create multiple entry points to opportunity.
