Our Journey

A Vision is Born

From Burden to Breakthrough

The Family Life Center began with a burden — a burden to see families restored, youth empowered, and cycles of poverty broken. Apostle Leon Benjamin envisioned a place where faith and community could come together to create real change, one life at a time.

Building Bridges

Meeting Needs Where They Are

Through years of community outreach, it became clear that people weren’t just looking for a sermon — they were looking for support. We built bridges through counseling, youth mentorship, educational resources, and hands-on job training. Our approach brings together the spiritual, emotional, and practical elements of life.

The Five Pillars That Hold Up Our Mission

At the Family Life Center Initiative, we’ve built our community impact around five foundational pillars. Each one represents a strategic investment in the spiritual, educational, and economic well-being of our people — from early childhood through adulthood. Together, they create a powerful structure of support.

Together, these five pillars form a comprehensive ecosystem of transformation — reaching families, veterans, and youth in meaningful ways. At the Family Life Center Initiative, this isn’t just our structure — it’s our strategy for impact.

From Cradle to Success

Not Cradle to Prison — Cradle to Purpose

We believe every child is born with divine potential. Our programs aim to protect and nurture that potential — guiding youth from early childhood all the way into adulthood with direction, discipline, and opportunity.

Real Stories. Real Results.
